Rising from the AshesOur theme 'Rising from the Ashes' is representative of the cycle of being reborn and rising again.
In 2022 we reflect not only on the year that has passed, but also on our own journeys, our own libraries, and our shared cultural histories and stories. We reflect on our past and the past stories of others, and together gather knowledge about the best ways to move forward in the future. |
Reflect and RenewThrough this reflection comes a renewal
Not only a physical renewal, but also a renewal of energy, motivation, determination and a positive outlook for the future. As teachers we reflect upon and renew our practices as part of the teaching and learning cycle. As librarians we aim to learn what works, keep up to date with emerging trends, and renew our practices and the practices of others around us. |
Revitalise and ReinvigorateThrough revitalisation we reinvigorate our drive and passion.
Revitalisation completes the cycle, and is representative of the process of injecting new life and vitality into our libraries and our profession. We aim to explore ways to not only keep our practices and spaces current, but also give them energy and excitement so they are able to create a culture that uplifts and creates a buzz. |
